Select and research 1 Stitch & 1 Seam/Hem or Trim Type assigned to you in class time, and provide the following under headings: (Example uploaded to Blackboard to follow)

• Heading with correct stitch/seam/hem or trim name.
• Provide sample image (front and back view).
• Definition of stitch/seam/hem or trim (reference source)
• *Application, example of use.
• *Any other relevant comments relating tostitch/seam/hem or trim.
• *Electronic handout to be uploaded to Google+
• *5 minute presentation outlining some interesting facts about the seam/stitch type along with its application to a garment brought into class.
• Referencing / Professional layout – Clear image, typed information, correct spelling.

• All students will have a compiled electronic folio of stitch/seam/hem & trim types by the end of the session as a reference that will be used in Assignment 3. 

*These elements will be presented to the class along with your sample garments& seam/stitch/trim application.

·         You are required to upload your handout on Google+ for submission which will be used as your visual presentation to the class along with the sample garments. Please find the link to activate Google+.  Note it can take up to 24 hours to appear in your RMIT student email settings.
